At first, we apologize for poor English from lack of our skill.Music Club LIVE WIRE is a student's club of Nara Medical University. Nara is one of the oldest capital of Japan (since B.C., until 794), and our university is stand on Kashihara City, in the middle of Nara Pref, Kansai area(middle-west of Japan, and where most passionate people of Japanese lives). Our club was established in 1991, by Dr.H.Nakajima, Dr.K.G.Furuta, Dr.M.Masuda, et al. Our president is Prof.Yoshiyuki Tohno M.D.(1st Department of Anatomy), since this club was established. We have about 30 members and 25 O.B.s from Medical course and College of Nursing.
We play basically rock and pop music, both domestic and foreign, but we never limit the performances of members. We are all free from categories of music, and we are presented under only one policy, that LOVE MUSIC AND HAVE A GOOD SHOW.
We have Club House(room) in our University, and it is a studio that has simple rock music instruments. Members can enjoy playing music everytime we want, and we unite bands over 10, which perform on the stage twice or three times a year.
And we produce the show(LIVE) twice a year, March and June. (Additionally, we support school festival - it is called Kashifu Festival - and produce amateur band concert on which some of our bands perform.) It is called Regular Live, and we produced 10 lives until March of 1998.
LIVE WIRE is now the HOTTEST CLUB in our University, and our affection for music is never-ending but only increasing. Our spilit go on forever, and we keep on playing as long as we can.
At last but not least, our performance is strongly supported by many fans, who all agree with our affection for music and show. We all express our gratitude for you, and we promise that we keep on playing music and performing, and that we keep affection for music. We hope to see you soon in our show, and our activity will be reported immediately on this page.
