Greeting of from Yumi Tamura,

P. E. Jp (Civil Engineering), Chair of Young Engineers Committee, IPEJ

 

My name is Yumi Tamura, chair of Young Engineers Committee (YEC) of Institution of Professional Engineers, Japan (IPEJ).

The YEC is composed of young engineers under 45 years old. They are professional engineers, Associate Professional Engineers, and Engineers in Training. YEC’s main activity is to organize seminars & lectures and provide opportunities of international exchanges for young engineers.

YEC is in charge of the following four issues;

(1)Positive participation and contribution to the IPEJ’s policy making process as representative of young generations by cooperating with the Policy and Planning Committee
(2)Planning and operation of seminars & lectures primary for young professional engineers
(3)Facilitating exchanges with YECs in IPEJ branches in order to activate CPDs
(4)Execution of international exchange by young engineers

This year, YEC is organizing its seminars and lectures for young engineers with higher quality and try to provide more opportunities to facilitate international and domestic exchange between young engineers under the followings policies.
1. An organization widely recognized and satisfying demands of the society.
2. Creation and operation of diverse activities.

You cooperation and participation to YEC will be most welcome and highly appreciated.
